Term 4 2026: 9 weekly classes on Fridays, 5:00pm to 7:15pm at the Anglican Parish of Cleveland, Cross Street (9, 16, 23 and 30 October; 6, 13, 20 and 27 November; 4 December), then our end-of-year production day on Sunday 13 December at S.P.A.C.E in Kenmore. 10 sessions, booked by term. Production day: every FilmLab class comes together for one shooting day with cinematographer Nigel Jones. Each student performs an original scene, written for the day and rehearsed in class beforehand, working alongside actors from the other classes. Every family gets their teen's raw footage (the uncut takes) after the day, and the best moments from the whole day are cut into a featured episode, the start of an ongoing FilmLab web series. Joining after Friday 30 October? Scenes are written and cast by then, so the production day you would miss becomes a free class in Term 1 2027.
